Come one, come all! The McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center is proud to present the Waushara County Youth Talent Showcase. Students from grades K-12 are invited to participate in a county-wide virtual talent show. This is a chance for students to show off their special skills, dazzle the audience and have a blast all from the comfort of home. The talent can be anything: music, pet tricks, science experiments or anything else they want to present for an online audience. They just need to grab a camera and do their thing! The two showcase coordinators, Megan Stevens and Erica Carlson, are ready and willing to help students in any way they can. Whether it’s giving them feedback so they can further perfect their talent or if they need technical help, Megan and Erica are there to give students any assistance they need.
Megan Stevens has been teaching 6th-8th grade instrumental music at Parkside School in Wautoma since 2013, and loves working with students developing their musical skills, and encouraging students to express themselves creatively. She is excited to work with more students around Waushara County by helping them explore their passions in various arts! Erica Carlson is a recent Communications graduate from Stevens Point who has been involved with many performances both in the spotlight and behind the scenes. She wants to use her experience to help students improve themselves and awaken their inner star. Erica believes this talent showcase will be a moment for participants to look back with pride on what they accomplished.
Registration is due July 17th and the final video will be due August 3rd. Participants will be entered in a random drawing for 5 chances to $50.
