    Event Description:
    The Waushara County UW – Extension office is sponsoring a series of one hour workshops through the end of the year as part of a “Serving Up Knowledge” Lunch & Learn Series. The public is welcome to attend. The next workshop is on Wednesday, July 18th from noon to 1:00 P.M. in the Demonstration Room of the Waushara County Courthouse. Parking is available on the corner of Elm Street and Scott Street. The topic is ‘Aerobics for the Brain.’ The UW - Extension mission is “We teach, learn, lead & serve, connecting people with the University of Wisconsin and engaging with them in transforming lives and communities”.  Through these Lunch & Learn Classes, UW-Extension is reaching out to the community through teaching, and transforming lives, through the knowledge they are serving up. Upcoming Lunch & Learn Classes will also be held in the Demonstration Room at the courthouse in Wautoma from noon to 1:00.  Future programs include: Food Preservation on August 22. Pre-registration is needed. To register for this class, please call the Waushara County Extension office at 920-787-0416, by 4:30 p.m. If you are interested in a box lunch prepared by the Department of Aging, please note that when you register. The cost will be $5.00 per person, payable at the class.  We look forward to seeing you at the class!
