3rd Annual Faith Alliance Against Human Trafficking Prayer Vigil. On January 26th the St. Joseph Council of Catholic Women will host the 3rd Annual Faith Alliance Against Human Trafficking Prayer Vigil, at 2:00 pm, in the Parish Hall of St. Joseph Catholic Church. The Honorable Guy Dutcher and Ms. Jonelle Erickson will be guest speakers on the widespread epidemic of Human Trafficking, which affects 40.3 million innocent children and adults internationally. Wisconsin has seen an increase in this crime with the latest arrests of 6 men recently being held and charged in Green Lake County. This case has brought this issue close to home for many and there are currently three more local individuals who have come forward seeking help. Judge Dutcher and Ms. Erickson will be speaking at 2:00; immediately following their presentation Reverend Barb Girod will preside over a Prayer Vigil. There will be time for Fellowship and discussion immediately following the Prayer Vigil. Due to the sensitivity of this topic, it is appropriate for teens 14 years and older. The Prayer Vigil is coordinated by the Waushara County Anti-Human Trafficking sub-committee known as the Faith Based Response to Human Trafficking. FBRHT has coordinated the past three Prayer Vigils under the auspices of the Waushara County Anti-Human Trafficking Committee.
