A “Federally Qualified Health Center” providing medical, dental, and other services to residents of Waushara and surrounding counties.  Historically a migrant health center, Family Health’s mission and funding broadened in the 1990’s to provide access to primary health care and its programs for ALL PEOPLE in this service area…insured or uninsured.  The majority of patients are now Waushara County year-round residents.  We are participating providers with all health insurance plans…we participate in Medicare, Medicaid and BadgerCare…and we have an “Affordable Care Program” which provides sliding fee discounts based on family size and income.  This federal and state funded discount program assures access to care by reducing a person’s out-of-pocket payment, whether the person is insured or not.  It covers both medical and dental services.  If you feel you might have difficulty paying for medical and dental services, please do not hesitate to call and find out if you would qualify for this program.  Medical appointments are available on a “same day” or “next day” basis 8 AM to 7 PM Monday and Thursday and 8 AM to 5 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
