The Waushara Holiday Project is preparing to spread holiday cheer to families in Waushara County. Community members, businesses, organizations, churches and area students are working together to raise funds and purchase toys to share with others. The Waushara Holiday Project will distribute holiday food and toys for Waushara County residents. Applicants need to register no later than November 30, 2020. Applications can be requested by contacting the Waushara County Department of Human Services at 920-787-6550 or 920-787-6600; visiting the Waushara County website at https://www.co.waushara.wi.us and searching Waushara Holiday Project or completing the on-line application at https://tinyurl.com/wausharaholidayproject. Holiday food and unwrapped gifts will be distributed to families on Friday, December 11th at the Waushara County Fairgrounds. Toys will be concealed and families will receive paper to
wrap gifts at home.
Those wishing to make monetary gifts for the purchase of toys and food can send checks payable to the Waushara Holiday Project c/o Waushara County Food Pantry at 220 N Oakridge Ct, Wautoma, WI 54982. The Waushara Holiday Project is being coordinated by the Waushara Food Pantry, the Waushara Prevention Council, Inc. and the Waushara County Department of Human Services with support of community groups and businesses throughout Waushara County.
