Throughout the state of Wisconsin, access to COVID-19 testing is increasing. If you live in or around Waushara County and are OR are not experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, the Waushara County Health Department is offering four community testing events for you to get tested.
Information for the Wednesday, June 24th 2020 Testing Event
This event is by appointment or drive-up. Any Wisconsin resident aged 5 years old and up who is or isn’t experiencing COVID-19 symptoms is welcome at this event. Parental consent is needed for ages 5-17 years.
1. If you would like to make your appointment, call the Waushara County Health Department at 920-787-6590.
2. Date: Wednesday, June 24th
3. Time: 1-4pm
4. Location: Waushara County Fairgrounds, Wautoma
Symptoms of COVD-19 include:
• Fever, defined as a measured temperature greater than 100.4°F
• Subjective fever, for example if a person feels unusually warm to the touch, or reports sensations similar to previous experiences of fever
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Sore throat
• Headache
• Chills or rigors (repetitive shaking chills)
• Muscle aches (myalgia)
• New loss of taste or smell
