Suet is the perfect bird food for the winter months, when birds’ food sources start to dwindle. Attend the January Lunch and Learn: “Backyard Feathered Friends” to learn how to make DIY birdseed suet cakes for the winter birds: nuthatches, woodpecker, chickadees and others. Taught by Heidi Hensel-Buntrock and Mary Ann Schilling, Extension Waushara County, this Lunch and Learn will be held on Tuesday, January 29th from 12-1pm at the Waushara County Courthouse Demo Room.
