Miguel’s Fight Against Rhabdomyosarcoma Fundraiser. On September 16, 2018, Miguel Duran and his family received devastating news, Miguel was again diagnosed with stage 4 Alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare form of cancer that forms in soft tissue. The cancer is aggressive, leaving the young man with little time. On Saturday, February 15, 2020, the community will gather for a fundraiser for Miguel and his family. It will be held at the Redgranite Lions Hall in Redgranite from 1-10pm. With plenty of kid-oriented activities planned, it is sure to be a fun event.
