From Goulash to Ghouls. With Halloween just around the corner, get into the creepy spirit at the Wautoma Public Library on Tuesday, October 15th at 5:00pm! Please join Wisconsin author Enid Cleaves at the Wautoma Public Library to learn about her background, how she started writing—first for magazines and newspapers, and then cookbooks and books regarding ghosts and the paranormal–as well as stories from her books. Much of the presentation depends on you: What questions do you have? What ghost stories would you like to hear—Perhaps the legend of the famous mansion Summerwind near Land O’Lakes? Or maybe strange goings-on at the von Stiehl Winery in Kewaunee..or stories of gangster activity in the Northwoods? What are your thoughts about the paranormal world? What recipes do you like to prepare? What stories do you have to tell? (Don’t worry, you can just sit back and listen as well!) This event is free and open to the public. Cleaves will be selling and signing copies of her books. Refreshments will be served.
