    Event Description:
    Waushara County—The Waushara Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting Waushara County’s 4th of July celebration once again this year on Saturday, July 6th. The Freedom Fest parade will kick the festivities off at 5:00pm. The event will then continue on at the Waushara County Fairgrounds with food, entertainment by Illegal Formation, a Corn Hole Tournament, and kid activities, followed by one of the area’s finest displays of fireworks sponsored by various businesses and organizations.
    Any area businesses or organizations are invited to participate in this year’s parade. Lineup will begin at 4:30 pm on South Waupaca Street in Wautoma. Participants will be given a place in line and a card to fill out for the announcer. 
    This year’s festival will offer a bounce house obstacle course for children, firetrucks from the Wautoma Area Fire Department, free rides on Evergreen Campsites Chippy The Train, kid’s games and take-home crafts with the Waushara County 4-H, and face painting and balloon animals from Dizzy D sponsored by State Farm Insurance-Dopp Agency and Gary Christensen. There will also be a number of food stands for attendees to choose from. Stick around until dusk and watch the amazing firework show put on by Great Lakes Fireworks.
