The Black Hawk Folk Society will be hosting Fendrick and Peck in concert Saturday, August 12 at the Mountain View Community Center, N3137 21st Lane, where 21st Lane intersects Highway 152, near Mt. Morris and Wautoma. Fendrick and Peck are singer songwriters who have recorded 4 albums and tour nationally, including a recent gig for The Folk Project in Morristown, New Jersey. Inspired by nature and the wisdom of naturalists such as Wendell Berry and Thoreau, Fendrick and Peck use their voices and acoustic instruments with the hope that their music will help others “learn from the natural world around them” and to find a spiritual restoration.
