The Wautoma Public Library Fundraising Committee is in the midst of planning the 9th Annual Taste of Wautoma. Mark your calendars as the date will be here in no time. The event will be held at the World War II Memorial Building on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. All proceeds will go toward reducing the remaining of the cost for the Library remodeling, which is approximately $241,495. The past eight “Taste of Wautoma” events have raised about $46,445 so your support is still needed. Several area restaurants will set up stations at which a ticket holder can sample the fare of each restaurant. If you are interested in having a vendor space at the event, but have not already been contacted, it is not too late. Please contact Nicole Overbeck at the Wautoma Library (787-2988) for more information. Tickets will be available at the Wautoma Library and Wautoma City Hall. You may also contact a Library Board Member for tickets. Tickets will be sold in advance or at the door on the day of the event. Watch for updates on the Taste of Wautoma, as many restaurants are still in the registration process.
