    Time: 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM CDT
    Event Description:
30th Annual Black Hawk Folk Society Festival. Join the Black Hawk Folk Society for their annual festival at the Mount Morris Town Park. The day will kick off with an open mic from 10:30-11:45am, followed by: Tom Pease, Lou & Peter Berryman, Small Potatoes, A Rose Among Thorns, Mean Mary, and Patchouli. Besides great live music, there will be an arts & crafts fair, concessions, free parking, and this event is handicap friendly. Refreshments are sold at the park by the Mt. Morris 4-H Pioneers; you may also bring your own refreshments. Visit with the artisans demonstrating their skills and selling their handmade art during the festival. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy a full day of music and camaraderie. Remember, no pets are allowed at the festival. The outdoors reminds us to bring sunscreen and plenty of bug spray. You may want to bring your swimsuits for a cool dip in Lake Morris. Performers’ CDs are on sale at the information booth, along with some Black Hawk swag.
